He is survived by a brother Steven Daub, Lititz PA, many aunts, uncles and cousins, and lots of special friends. He always enjoyed when his cousin brought him a “pie from home”. One of his all-time favorite foods was a Mione’s Pizza made in Tower City PA. He also had a great sense of humor and enjoyed sharing jokes and loving messages with his Facebook Family. He loved animals and volunteered at 2nd Chance for Life Rescue – The Rescue Ranch where he helped in every area he could, especially sitting in a chair and being covered by fur buddies.

Dave was a happy and kind person who was always willing to help anyone. He worked for Red Lobster in Lancaster for 44 years and was recognized for his knowledge of and passion for serving his customers with care and respect. David was a 1978 graduate of Ephrata High School and studied Travel and Tourism at the Southeastern Academy. David and his mother were very close and he missed her very much. His father Bill died in 1997, and mother Anna died in 2020.

His parents were William “Bill” and Anna Shope Daub. He was born Main Allentown PA, and began his life in Tower City PA. Joy PA died Thursday, November 4 at his home. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough.David A. It's 53 minutes from my house and worth every minute of that drive. Also, just to note in 2022 (during very high inflation), it was quite obvious they didn't cut back on the cheese or sauce or any of the quality other reviewers had mentioned as well. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good Italian style pizza that doesn't break the bank. Now I plan on doing the same with my homemade pies I do at home on occasion. The pizza we ordered was phenomenal, as was the 2 different French fries with cheese we ordered (one with mozzarella and one with cheddar)! I got half ham and pepperoni and they add just a hint of Parmesan on top and it was wonderful. The bathrooms were exquisite, and very clean. The staff were extremely patient and courteous with them.

Children were amped up because of running around and seeing all the animals. There were 7 of us, 2 adults and 5 children. Came here from a long hot day trip at Lake Tobias.
